Thank you for visiting my portfolio! My name is Erin Killinger Billips (formerly Erin Hunt Killinger before being married in 2021). I am a Senior Designer who specializes in packaging and branding design as well as illustration. Below are a few fun facts. So, without further ado, I present to you: Erin 101
My affinity for packaging design and branding was sparked by job shadowing several designers at two large design agencies in Chicago when I was 17 years old. I now have over 15 years of experience as a graphic designer for some of the top agencies in Cincinnati, NYC, and Chicago.
I enjoy making things with my hands – especially since I spend most of my time pushing pixels. Watercolor, acrylic painting, needle point, and needle felting are a few of my favorites.
I have a home library curated with almost 500 books on just about every subject imaginable. I love to read and I thoroughly believe in continued self-guided education. I think that the best books, like the best designs, stand the test of time.
Interior styling has been a lifelong passion of mine ever since I was a kid. I’ve read just about every book on the subject the local public library has to offer. I love studying the design fundamentals as well as history regarding interior design and architecture. Subsequently, I created an Instagram account dedicated to my unique antique/vintage finds as well as the rooms I’ve styled for myself and others.
